FRANKFORT, Ky. (LEX 18)– Governor Matt Bevin’s Office announced Sunday morning that American and state flags at public office buildings will be lowered to half-staff until sunset on June 4 to honor the victims of the Virginia Beach shooting.
The announcement said this is in accordance with the proclamation by President Donald Trump.
Governor Bevin encourages all individuals, businesses, organizations, and government agencies to join the tribute in honor flags to half-staff.
