FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– A man is in jail after leading police in a high-speed chase through two counties.
Frankfort police tell LEX 18 that the chase started on US 460 as an attempted reckless driving stop, but they say that the suspect then led officers on a chase through Georgetown.
Speeds reached up to 90 miles per hour, according to police. The chase ended just outside of Stamping Ground when the car became disabled.
Zachary Harrison, 25, of Chaplin, was arrested and is facing numerous charges including, fleeing or evading police, driving on a suspended license, and driving under the influence 3rd offense.
