LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– One person is injured following a crash on Interstate 75.
It happened around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday at the 117 mile marker.
Police say a white car heading north rear-ended a dump truck that had pulled out from a construction area.
The driver of the car was briefly trapped inside and had to be pulled out by the fire department.
We’re told the driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
All lanes of northbound I-75 were shut down for about 30 minutes while crews cleared the scene.
