SCOTT COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) – Scott County Sheriff’s Department officials said Tuesday afternoon that a man wanted for allegedly assaulting a paramedic has been taken into custody.
Sgt. Eddie Hart said that Chad Michael Howell was just arrested after several people called police reporting that he was walking along Paris Pike.
On Monday, according to authorities, Howell became combative in the back of an ambulance on Paris Pike near Newtown Pike and Leesburg Road.
Deputies said Howell assaulted a paramedic then forced his way out and ran into the woods nearby.
