Report: Cincinnati Boy, 11, Drowns At Myrtle Beach Hotel

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WLWT) — An 11-year-old boy from Cincinnati has drowned at a South Carolina hotel, officials said.

WLWT is reporting that the boy, who has only been identified as a child from Cincinnati, drowned Sunday at the Beach Colony Resort in Myrtle Beach.

Officials with the Horry County Coroner’s Office said the child was taken to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The child’s name has not been released. The case is currently under investigation.

Myrtle Beach is a popular vacation spot. The Beach Colony Resort is located on North Ocean Boulevard — the main strip.
