WHITLEY COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– Two weeks have passed since Kentucky State Police troopers found 57-year-old Vicki Conner shot dead inside a Whitley County home.

The suspect in the case is her boyfriend, Nicholas Rucker. He has been on the run ever since.

Police are hoping that attention from a popular TV show helps them track him down. Since the episode of ‘Live P-D’ aired, authorities have received multiple tips.

None of the tips have led them to Rucker, but authorities are glad that the show is keeping the case in the public eye.

A few days after Conner’s murder, the Whitley County Sheriff spotted Rucker and pursued him, but he was able to get away. Since then, they say they spend about seven hours a day following up tips on the case.

Rucker has served time behind bars for murder before. He is considered armed and dangerous. Authorities ask that if you see him, contact police and do not approach him.

If you have any information about the whereabouts of Nicholas Rucker, please call the Kentucky State Police at 606-878-6622.
