LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– A Lexington man has been arrested after he reportedly stabbed someone.
It happened around 12:30 p.m. Thursday at an apartment on Martha Court.
According to an arrest citation, 56-year-old John Lapham admitted to stabbing the victim with a kitchen knife that had a serrated edge.
The victim was sent to the hospital with what is being described as a serious injury.
Lapham is charged with first-degree assault and is set to be in court Friday.
