Brandenburg Man Charged With Rape, Sodomy After KSP Investigation

MEADE COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Kentucky State Police have arrested a Western Kentucky man on charges related to child sexual exploitation.

KSP’s Electronic Crime Branch began investigating 28-year-old Leon Barr after allegedly discovering he had been chatting online with a juvenile about meeting for sex.

Police searched Barr’s Brandenburg home Friday, seizing his computer.

Officials charged Barr with seven counts of third-degree rape, 13 counts of third-degree sodomy and using an electronic device to procure a minor for sex.
