LEXINGTON, Ky. (KYTC) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet wants to advise motorists of scheduled lane closures for Interstate 75 in Fayette County.
The temporary closures are necessary for milling and resurfacing operations to continue.
Monday, June 10 through Wednesday, July 31 – 9 p.m. each evening until 6 a.m. the following morning
Note:
- regular hours of work are scheduled Mondays through Fridays
- operations are planned to conclude at approximately 6 a.m. on Friday mornings
- work may be extended for Friday evenings through Saturday mornings pending on weather conditions
Interstate 75 – northbound
- alternating lane closures will be in effect between milepoints 111.95 and 121.12 (the Fayette-Scott County line)
Motorists should be aware that Interstate 75 may be periodically reduced to one lane during the hours of work.
All work is subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
