LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Police in Lexington were investigating after a man reported being stabbed Sunday evening.
Authorities said the stabbing occurred about 6:45 p.m. in the 700 block of Magoffin Street.
The male victim told police he walked out his front door and was stabbed by black male, who then fled on foot along with a white female.
The victim suffered one stab wound to the abdomen, police said. He was taken to the University of Kentucky Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said the victim told them he did not know of any reason someone would injure him.
