Shots Fired At Occupied Home On Lexington’s Northeast Side

LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Shots were fired at home with people inside early Monday morning and Lexington police are looking for suspects.

Authorities say the shooting occurred around 2 a.m. in the 200 block of Carlisle Avenue on the city’s northeast side.

Officials said no one was hurt in the incident.

Lexington police received calls about four or five gunshots in the area. When they arrived, officers discovered one bullet had gone into a home.

Officials said a grey sport-utility vehicle was seen leaving the area at the time the gunshots were reported.

There was no word on possible suspects.
