LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — The University of Kentucky issued an all-clear after earlier reports of a gas leak at Rose Street and Columbia Avenue.
Officials with the university said crews hit a gas line while removing a tree. Columbia Gas responded to the scene and shut off the line.
Rose at Columbia were closed off for a short time and the UK Fine Arts Building on Rose Street was evacuated.
