LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– Lexington police are investigating after a man was found in the roadway with a gunshot wound.
It happened around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday on Jennifer Road.
Officials say they responded to a report of a man walking around a parking lot, potentially with a handgun, and later found a man lying in the road with a single gunshot wound.
He was conscious and taken to the hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries.
Police found one shell casing in the area and are currently talking to people to identify a possible suspect.
