LESLIE COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– The state auditor has now released the audit of the 2017 financial statement for former Leslie County Sheriff Delano Huff.

In the report, auditor Mike Harmon talks about six issues that were found with the former sheriff’s fee account.

The former Leslie County Sheriff’s Office did not issue receipts for all auto inspections.

It’s reported that a deputy sheriff also received third-party compensation for performing official duties.

A quarterly report was also found inaccurate.

The audit also found issues with not settling fees between 2015 and 2016.
