LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) – One person is in custody after a hit-and-run accident on I-75.
According to Lexington police, a driver in a white Nissan Altima struck a tractor-trailer and then went the wrong way off the 110 Exit to flee the scene.
The car was later discovered at the Speedway on Elkhorn and the driver was found at the nearby McDonald’s. Police say he had no insurance and no license.
He was arrested and charged with leaving the scene.
The driver of the tractor-trailer was not injured.
