Police: Richmond Woman Threatens To Shoot Door Down During Domestic

RICHMOND, Ky. (WBON) – Richmond Police were dispatched to a domestic violence call and arrested a woman for 4th degree assault.

According to WBON in Richmond, Tenicia Chauntay Hays had a gun and was threatening to shoot the lock off the victim’s door.

When officers arrived, Hays no longer had the gun and the victim told police he had locked himself in a room to hide.

The door was damaged, WBON reports, and the victim also had visible injuries from an altercation that he claimed was with Hays.

Officers finally found the gun inside the home. She was taken into custody and charged with 4th degree assault.
