WAYNE COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Police in Wayne County have arrested a Monticello man who is accused of sexually assaulting a child.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Department said 27-year-old Colter J. Davis was placed in custody Friday evening after an investigation into a complaint he had allegedly molested a minor.
Police charged Davis with first-degree rape and first-degree sodomy of a victim younger than 12.
Authorities said the investigation was continuing and further chargers were pending.
Davis was being held in the Wayne County Detention Center.
