Officials with the aquarium said they are working with Duke Energy to restore power.
Any pre-purchased tickets for Sunday will be honored at any future date, they said.
The aquarium’s power outage comes as many across the area are struggling with a similar issue.
Heavy rains pushed across the Cincinnati area Saturday night into Sunday morning, inundating Cincinnati area roadways and homes.
Several roadways were closed — particularly Sunday morning — as blasts of heavy rain moved through the area.
The flooding caused thousands of power outages across the area and multiple landslides.
