Russell Co. Brothers Indicted On Federal Bank Fraud Charges

Posted

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (LEX 18) — A pair of brothers from Russell County have been indicted on federal charges of bank fraud.

Adam and Jeremy Hill were charged in an indictment handed up Wednesday in Bowling Green.

The indictment alleges that Jeremy Hill wanted to obtain a loan to consolidate his debts but was denied due to bad credit.

Instead he is accused of getting a friend to obtain the loan in 2010 and give him the money.

The loan allegedly came though Adam Hill, who worked as a loan officer.

The indictment says the loan eventually fell into default due to non-payment, forcing Jeremy Hill’s friend to declare bankruptcy.

The Hills now face up to 30 years in prison.
