LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Lexington police have reported a second night of vandalism in the city’s Meadowthorpe neighborhood.
On Thursday, authorities say, someone damaged more than a dozen cars with a BB gun.
Police say it happened again overnight Saturday into Sunday morning. At least a dozen vehicles and homes were hit, officials said. Police estimate thousands of dollars worth of damage was done.
“I’m shocked that someones doing this and i’m a little disappointed that people have come to this,” said Liz Rogers, who lives in the area.
Police released a video Friday show a car that was suspected of being tied to the vandalism.
Officer plan to send out extra patrols to that area to prevent vandalism from happening again.
Authorities are asking anyone with information about the case to call police.
