SPENCER COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– Three people are safe and one is dead after their vehicle became trapped in floodwaters.
It happened around 1:42 a.m. Monday on Old Heady Road near the Jefferson County line.
Officials say the occupants had to be rescued after attempting to cross a flooded bridge.
A woman and two children were rescued, however, another adult in the vehicle was not immediately located.
According toWAVE 3 News, the adult man’s body was found in the 500 block of Creek Valley Road. His name has not been released.
