LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– Police are investigating a shooting that happened in downtown Lexington early Monday morning.
It happened just after 3 a.m. at the corner of Elm Tree Lane and East Third Street near the Lyric Theatre.
Police say a man was shot three times.
He was taken to UK Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
We’re told it looks like he was alone at the time of the crime.
There is no word on any suspects or witnesses at this time.
