SCOTT COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– No injuries have been reported in an overnight fire at a Georgetown home.
It started around 2 a.m. Thursday on Sundown Drive.
According to the fire department, a person walking down the street called 911 after seeing smoke.
Crews knocked down the fire quickly, which they say started underneath the trailer.
The people who live there were at a neighbors house, so no one was hurt.
A kitten was inside during the fire, but it got out safely.
The cause is under investigation.
