Several Threats Called In To Lexington Businesses

LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) – Multiple threats caused a heavy police response on the north side of Lexington afternoon.

According to police, the threats were called in to about four businesses but officers have not found any information suggesting the threats are viable but, they were being cautious.

One caller told the LEX 18 newsroom that his wife was evacuated from the Bryan Station Kroger. Other businesses are remaining open.

New Circle was briefly closed as police arrived on the scene. The roadway has since reopened.
