CLARK COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) – Firefighters from several departments were called out late Friday night to a fire at a vacant home.

The blaze was reported just after 11 p.m. at a structure along Kiddville Road, officials said.

Crews on the scene could not say immediately what caused the fire, but officials said it could have been sparked by a lightning strike.

The house was engulfed in flames by the time firefighters arrived.
