SHELBY COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — A Shelby County man has pleaded guilty to receiving child pornography.
Authorities say 62-year-old Joseph Gable pleaded guilty early this week to amended charges in Frankfort.
In his plea agreement, Gable admitted to receiving numerous images of children younger than 12 engaged in sexual activity.
Court records indicate that investigators found several thousand pictures and hundreds of videos on Gable’s computer.
Gable also admitted to superimposing his grandchildren’s faces on some of the images.
Gable faces 5 to 20 years in prison at sentencing, which is scheduled for Oct. 16.
