LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — A night out at the bars in Lexington ended in gunshots and panic in separate incidents overnight.

Police had their work cut out for them, contending with shootings at two popular nightclubs. As of early Sunday morning, no arrests had been made.

Authorities said they are looking for a man with dreadlocks who was wearing a blue shirt. They believe he is connected to a shooting about 1:30 a.m. outside of the Two Keys bar near the University of Kentucky campus.

Officials said that the man got into an argument with another man, then went to his vehicle where he retrieved a gun and shot the other man.

The victim was taken to the University of Kentucky Medical Center where he was in surgery. His condition was not disclosed.

About an hour and a half later, police responded to the Fox Club on Winchester Road. Authorities said fights had broken out inside and outside the club.

While police worked to defuse the tension, officials said, shots rang out behind the club near Hillcrest Avenue. Bullets struck a car and a home in the area, police said, and a woman inside the home was hit by debris.

Authorities said a minor near the scene also was struck by a bullet. Both were expected to be OK, officials said.

Police said they believe the shooting along Hillcrest was connected to the Fox Club ruckus but do not have any suspects.
