Man Shot While Driving Home On Lexington’s Southeast Side

LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — One person was hospitalized after being shot early Monday on Lexington’s southeast side.

Authorities say the shooting occurred about 3 a.m. on Patchen Drive.

The victim told police he noticed a car in the parking lot when leaving his job at Fyre Entertainment, then saw the same car later on Patchen Drive.

That’s when shots were fired, the victim told police.

The man drove himself to an area hospital. Police say his injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.

Authorities said they have not found any additional property damage in the area.

Police were reviewing surveillance video from the area.
