LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) – Lexington police have arrested two suspects allegedly involved in a robbery that turned into a shooting.
Police arrested Octavius and Quinton Wingate Thursday afternoon. Police say that on June 21 before 5 p.m. Octavius shot the victim several times in the torso during a robbery causing serious physical injury.
Police say Octavius was in possession of a handgun upon being arrested. He’s charged with first-degree assault and robbery. An arrest citation says Quinton also took part in the crime. He’s charged with first degree robbery.
