GEORGETOWN, Ky. (LEX 18) – An alleged porch package purloiner caught in the act on video has been taken into custody by Georgetown police.
Video posted to the department’s Facebook showed a young man on a bicycle grabbing a package off the porch of a Waterside Drive home. It didn’t take very long for officers to identify the suspect.
UPDATE***THE SUBJECT HAS BEEN IDENTIFIED***We need your help in identifying the individual in this video. A package was stolen from a home today on Waterside Drive. If you have any information regarding this persons identity, please call Dispatch at 502-863-7820.

The subject has been identified as Kyle Robinson. Officers thanked citizens for their tips.
Police also found 13 grams of Methamphetamine on Robinson during a search.
