LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Lexington police have made and arrest in a robbery case from two weeks ago, officials said.

Authorities said 23-year-old Kyle Garlock became violent June 17 during an argument with a boyfriend, allegedly scratching the man’s face and trying to gouge his eyes.

Officials said that when the victim pulled out his phone to call for help, Garlock allegedly grabbed the phone and smashed it into the man’s forehead.

Garlock was charged with first-degree robbery and intimidating a witness.
