Police: Lexington man passed out with daughter in vehicle

LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — A Lexington man faces criminal charges after police say he passed out in his car while under the influence of alcohol with his daughter in the back seat.

Authorities said 42-year-old Karl Ahnquist was arrested Saturday night near the intersection of Alumni Drive and Tates Creek Road.

The arrest citation notes Ahnquist had a blood-alcohol level of .222, nearly triple the legal limit.

Ahnquist was charged with wanton endangerment and driving under the influence.
