NELSON COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — A prayer vigil will be held Monday for Crystal Rogers, who went missing four years ago.
Wednesday will mark the exact day four years ago when Rogers disappeared.
The mother of five last was seen at her home in Nelson County.
Back then, police named Rogers’ boyfriend as the main suspect in her disappearance, but he has denied having anything to do with it and has not been charged in the case.
Every year around this time, Rogers’ family holds a prayer service.
Rogers’ mother says that even years later, her daughter’s disappearance is hard to cope with.
“When you have to go through pictures and all that again, it kind of gets to you a bit,” said Sherry Ballard. “But it’s very important that we do this. I don’t want anybody to forget that we haven’t found Crystal.”
The prayer vigil will be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday at St. Thomas Church in Bardstown.
