FRANKFORT, Ky. (LEX 18) — Gun enthusiasts gathered at the Capitol in Frankfort worried about having their 2nd Amendment Rights being taken away from them.

Several politicians were in attendance including Kentucky Representative Thomas Massie, who is currently pushing a bill to repeal the "Gun-Free School Zone Act."

"These people showing up here will hopefully show the legislators who are in session today, that maybe they don't want to pass gun control in Kentucky," said Massie.

Although there is yet to be any passed legislation to take these 2nd Amendment rights away. Many gun enthusiasts at the rally believe even the unfiled extreme risk protection order bill known as the "Red Flag Law," which would allow the temporary removal of firearms from people at risk of hurting themselves or others are infringing on their rights.
