FRANKFORT, Ky. (LEX 18) — Gov. Andy Beshear and First Lady Britainy Beshear posted a Christmas message to Kentuckians early Wednesday morning.
The governor, his wife and the couple's two dogs, wished families a Merry Christmas and a happy holiday season.
Beshear also thanked his supporters for electing him to the office.
"I’m grateful that I’ve been given the opportunity to serve in a role where I can try to lift up every single Kentucky family," said Beshear.
He also said he wanted to make sure his administration made efforts to support families in need.
