PIKE COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Kentucky State Police were conducting a death investigation after a body was found Friday morning after a home fire.
Police were called out about 4 a.m. to a fire in the Stone area of Pike County.
After the fire was put out, investigators located a body inside the home.
Officials did not immediately provide an identification of the victim.
The investigation is ongoing, authorities said.
