State Rep. John "Bam" Carney remains in the hospital due to pancreatitis, but doctors say he is making improvements according to state Rep. Kevin Bratcher.
According to Bratcher, Carney is also scheduled for a dialysis, a CT Scan, and an MRI today.
Carney has remained in the hospital since Christmas Day after becoming ill following a family Christmas lunch. Since then, Carney has undergone two surgeries.
Carney has served in the legislature since 2009.
