LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — The Go See Trees Challenge runs from October 3-27, and encourages people to check out trees in Lexington.

“The Go See Trees Fall Challenge gets people outside to really connect with Lexington’s trees and experience different parts of the city’s tree canopy,” says City Arborist Heather Wilson. “This challenge highlights some new trees, so we encourage people who participated last spring to take part in the challenge.”

There are 10 trees that are a part of the challenge. Those who visit at least five trees and turn in the necessary documentation will receive a prize. Those who visit all 10 will be entered in a grand prize drawing.

Complete details and a map showing where the trees are located are at LexingtonKy.Gov/GoSeeTrees.
