WOODFORD COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — A coat drive in Woodford County Sunday will provide 226 coats for girls during a "Random Acts of Kindness Week" event.
The drive is scheduled from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Woodford County High School.
According to a press release, residents from Versailles, Lexington, and Frankfort are invited to have one person from each family stop by and pick up two coats.
Masks and social distancing measures are required for all who attend.
The "Coats of Kindness" drive is hosted by Strengthening Transformations, Inc.The coats were donated by Operation Warm.
