MOUNT VERNON, Ky. (LEX 18) — The Rockcastle County Coroner's Office confirmed to LEX 18 that a 73-year-old woman, and a dog were found dead following a home fire in Mount Vernon on Monday morning.
The coroner identified the victim as Lois Marie Bowman.
The coroner added that the fire is under investigation and at this time "no foul play is suspected."
