KNOX COUNTY, Ky. (WRIL/LEX 18) — A man died in a crash on U.S. 25E Thursday.
Kentucky State Police said that their investigation indicated 61-year-old Daniel Patterson was driving a pick-up truck south on U.S. 25E when the vehicle dropped off the roadway and into the median where it overturned multiple times, ejecting Patterson.
Patterson, who was from Cannon, was pronounced dead at the scene.
KSP said he was the only occupant in the vehicle. They report that no seat belt was used at the time.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
