Crews battle 'fully-involved' fire in Lexington neighborhood

LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Firefighters battled a fully-involved house fire Friday afternoon in Lexington.

Officials said the call came in at about 12:07 p.m. about a fire on the 2200 block of Savannah Lane near Beaumont Center.

Officials said no one was home at the time of the fire, but that two dogs were killed in the blaze.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
