LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Fire and emergency crews responded Thursday morning after a small fire broke out at a steak house in downtown Lexington.
Officials were called out just before 9 a.m. to reports of smoke and fire coming from Columbia Steak House at 201 N. Limestone.
A Lexington Fire official said the owner reported that a small fire started above the bathroom after he turned the lights on.
The officials said the fire was already effectively out by the time crews arrived. The restaurant would like to make it very clear they are open for business.
