LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — The Diocese of Lexington has announced that they will cancel mass at all parishes until further notice.
The diocese issued a statement regarding the spread of the novel coronavirus, "Hearing the outcry of the medical community and wanting to do our part to help contain the spread of the coronavirus, all public masses in the Dicoese of Lexington will be suspended as of tomorrow, March 17, until further notice."
The Diocese did say that funerals will be permitted as long as mourners follow social distancing guidelines.
