CORBIN, Ky. (LEX 18) — KYTC District 11 reported that a water main was damaged on I-75 in Corbin on Thursday and a driver captured the moment.
Officials reported that a contractor was "performing work in preparation for bridge upgrade" to widen I-75 at Corbin when a water main was damaged.
The contractor reportedly acted quickly to keep water off of the interstate. Officials added that the contractor is working with the utility company to make temporary repairs and ultimately permanent repairs.
