WINCHESTER, Ky. (LEX 18) — A driver was killed early Tuesday morning when a dump truck crashed on Interstate Highway 64 in Clark County.
Authorities said the dump truck struck an embankment about 12:30 a.m.
Clark County Sheriff's officials said the driver was killed. Officials have not identified the victim.
No other vehicles were involved. The crash and response snarls traffic in the area for hours but all lane since have reopened.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
