FLOYD COUNTY, Ky. (WPSD) — A inmate who escaped from the McCracken County Jail over the weekend was captured in eastern Kentucky on Tuesday.
WPSD reports that Daniel Bell stole a pickup truck while on work release. Bell is originally from Floyd County and authorities believed he could be in the area.
The truck was spotted by deputies with the Floyd County sheriff's department. A chased ensued and eventually Bell was taken into custody. No officers appeared to have been injured in the chase.
