PARIS, Ky. (LEX 18) — One person was killed early Friday morning in a crash that has shut down a major Bourbon County roadway for hours.
Authorities said a car crashed on Georgetown Road (U.S. Highway 460) in Paris, about a mile and a half from the intersection with Bypass Road.
Traffic officials said U.S. 460 was reopened to traffic just before 7 a.m.
The victim's identity was not immediately disclosed.
The cause of the crash remained under investigation.
