LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Fayette County Public Schools has canceled all classes for Friday due to unsafe bus routes, marking the district's tenth consecutive day of out the classroom and ninth snow day of the academic year.

Fayette County Public School students will spend Thursday at home due to the conditions of bus routes in the area, marking the district's eighth snow day of the academic year.
"Thursday is a snow day because of continued unsafe road conditions on school bus routes," the district said on their website Wednesday.
A decision about after school and evening activities is still pending.
