Firefighters manage to rescue dogs from house fire in Georgetown

FIREFIGHTERS WERE ABLE TO RESCUE SOME PETS FROM A HOUSE FIRE IN GEORGETOWN FRIDAY NIGHT. — Firefighters were able to rescue some pets from a house fire in Georgetown Friday night.

The fire happened at 7:45 at a home on Jamestown Court in The Colony subdivision. No one was home at the time, but firefighters were able to rescue a couple of dogs in the basement.

The home suffered extensive damage. There is no word on a cause at this time.
